Staff at Pinewood are selected primarily on the basis of a kind and caring nature.  On-going training is provided to ensure that they have the necessary skills and experience to deliver a high standard of nursing care, utilising the medical equipment and facilities provided by the Home.

Responsible Individual and Director, Philip Sadeghi - Philp had, until 2004, worked as a solicitor in the city of London with over 8 years' experience in law.  Feeling it was time for a change of career, Philip agreed to join his father, Jim, and his brother, Andy, to be in charge of Pinewood.Philp had, until 2004, worked as a solicitor in the city of London with over 8 years' experience in law. Andy Sadeghi

Director, Andy Sadeghi - Having acquired Masters degrees in Biomedical Sciences and Internet Computing, Andy, had, until 2004, been working for an Internet Service Provider in Sheffield.  Since then, he agreed to come to Devon and join Jim and Philip to be heavily involved in the administration and running of the family care business. Sally Williams

Domiciliary Care Manager, Sally Williams - Sally has been working in the care industry since 1998, be it within care homes or in the domiciliary care sector. In 2003, she successfully completed her NVQ 3 and progressed to the position of Senior Carer. She gained experience of the day to day running of a care home, having responsibilities including the management of the home during times of the manager's/owner's absence. Sally has also studied Physiology and Anatomy at Level 3 alongside gaining a VTCT Level 3 diploma in Swedish Massage in 2009/10. Before joining Pinewood in May 2010 as a Senior Carer for the care home, she was working with people with learning disabilities.Sally has been working in the care industry since 1998, be it within care homes or in the domiciliary care sector. Donna-Marie Parry

Deputy Domiciliary Care Manager, Donna-Marie Parry - Donna has been working in the care industry since 2009. Prior to moving to Devon, she worked for Hertfordshire County Council in Adult Care. She is currently undertaking a Level 5 Diploma in Health and Social Care Managerment.Donna has been working in the care industry since 2009. Care Home Registered Manager, Claire Gee - Claire Gee joined Pinewood as Manager in December 2016, and has many years experience  in management of the nursing team and of looking after the physical and psychological well being of the ladies and gentlemen in her care. Ensuring that the highest standard of care is provided and maintained, with a person-centered approach, in a safe and happy environment, whilst having a passion for ensuring that life is for living.Claire Gee joined Pinewood as Manager in December 2016, and has many years experience in management of the nursing team and of looking after the physical and psychological well being of the ladies and gentlemen in her care. Nurse / Deputy Matron, Galina Stavreva - I qualified from medical college in Bulgaria in 2004.  I then went to work in the hospital specializing in pulmonology,gastroenterology, heamatology and oncology.  Also during this time I was the blood transfusion nurse and sometimes administered chemotherapy. I came to England in 2007 and started work at Pinewood in 2009I qualified from medical college in Bulgaria in 2004. Helen Harris

Nurse , Helen Harris - Helen originally qualified as a Registered Nurse with a Distinction in 2005. Up until joining us at Pinewood in 2010, she had since been working at Exmouth Hospital where a lot of her duties involved being responsible for the wards and the subsequent teams that had been allocated to her. These wards involved looking after both surgical and medical patients. Amongst her various qualifications, she has completed degree courses in both Tissue Viability and Mentorship.Helen originally qualified as a Registered Nurse with a Distinction in 2005. Maria Fampulme

Nurse , Maria Fampulme - Maria has over twenty years' experience as a nurse, having qualified in the Phillipines in 1980.  She started her career working in Pediatrics and later worked in various surgery wards in the Phillipines.  She traveled to Ireland in 2003 and worked in a nursing home in Cork for over a year, where she undertook an adaptation course to be able to practice nursing in the UK.  She joined the home shortly thereafter in 2004.Maria has over twenty years' experience as a nurse, having qualified in the Phillipines in 1980. She started her career working in Pediatrics and later worked in various surgery wards in the Phillipines. Nurse , Nicoleta Limbosanu - I was educated and grew up in Romania, after graduating high school in 2006 I went to Bucharest university to study social work and graduated with a bachelor diploma 2009. In the autumn of that same year I went to nursing school graduating as a qualified general nurse in 2012. During my time in nursing school I did training and volunteer hours in hospitals until 2013 when I came to England. I returned to Cornwall to manage a building plant hire company before retraining in 2000 to obtain a first class honors degree in building surveying. Activities , Lisa Tinsley - Studied English Lit at Swansea University and obtained a BA Honors, I then went onto Dundee F.E. College to obtain my post graduate certificate in education. I then worked as a primary school teacher in Scotland and England and went on to purchase my own nursery school which I ran for 7 years in Devon. Following this I went to work for the Devon County Council on the 'Devon Action for Youth' program working with all ages of children excluded from mainstream education. I now work with the opposite end of the spectrum keeping the older generation happy, engaged and motivated.
