Location

The home is situated close to the local bus route and is within walking distance of the sea front and shops. It is easily found at the top of Victoria Place (just off the main Exmouth Road into Budleigh Salterton).

History

Pinewood was initially built in Budleigh Salterton to house The Montpelliar School for Girls. It was later turned into a hotel, before becoming a residential and then a nursing home called Links Pinewood. On 10 February 2004, Elmwood Nursing Home Limited purchased Links Pinewood Nursing Home and the present name was adopted.
