At Pinewood Nursing Home we are always keen to hear from people interested in working for us. We are looking for caring people who would like to work with the elderly. Experience is not essential, and on-the-job training will be provided. In return, we offer a great working environment and good rates of pay. We keep a record of nurses, care assistants, kitchen assistants, cooks, domestics, and maintenance people who are interested in working for us and will contact you if we have a vacancy or as soon as a vacancy arises. Training

All staff are trained in Manual Handling, Infection Control and Fire Safety. Additional training in First Aid and Food Hygiene is also available to those who wish to take it. Once staff complete their induction, they are given an appraisal and are presented with their own personalised goals for the forthcoming year, including NVQs. NVQs in kitchen assisting and domestic work are also on offer for ancillary staff.
